Before you lead anyone else, you have to know who you are. Ignition is where that gets settled — your identity, your beliefs, your purpose, built on ground that doesn’t move.
What to expect.
- Guided study materials
- Daily challenges
- Brotherhood of men doing the same work — this is your entry point into AOD.
Before you can lead anyone anywhere, you have to know how to find your own way — on a map, and off one. You’ll also get your first taste of being tested with entry into a Rucking Mode event.
Outcome.
Clarity
Clarity doesn’t change your life by itself — it’s what you do with it. The Forge is two moments in one. Refining Fire burns off the excess baggage that is holding you back from your true potential. This phase builds habits, disciplines, and decision-making skills into you enabling you to operate under pressure.
Hammer and Shape is what brotherhood does that fire alone can’t: other men beating on you until you hold the shape you’re supposed to hold. This is where the hammer meets the steel.
What to expect.
- Live coaching and guest speakers.
- A team of men who hold you accountable in your cohort.
- Physical standards that force discipline into your body, not just your calendar.
- You’ll move through Rucking Mode and Mission Mode here.
Outcome.
Capability and Community.
Live the mission. Lead the ones who depend on you. This is the top of the path — where you stop just building yourself and start leading the people who need you to. One-on-one, we define your mission, build the plan, and hold you to it.
What to expect.
- Direct 1:1 mentorship
- A leadership plan built around your household, not just your habits.
- Access to Mission Mode and Survival Mode — our pinnacle event, where Land Navigation gets pushed to its edge: unmarked routes, unknown distance, real wilderness, and no one to bail you out if you read the terrain wrong.
You’re tested in body, mind, and spirit. For the men who go all the way through, there’s a path to train under us as Cadre, and take this to other men.
Outcome.
Experience and Conviction.
Leadership Workshop Sessions that get to the heart of what it means to lead with integrity, courage, and conviction. From discussions on Biblical principles and life's challenges, to having guest speakers walk us through what it means to be physically fit, we've got you covered.
Rucking Events that range from 4 hours to 24+ hours, testing physical endurance, mental toughness, and teamwork. If you are new to ruck marching, it is an endurance event that you carry a backpack for distances ranging from 4-12+ miles.
Team-based Missions that challenge participants to work together, problem-solve, and accomplish shared objectives during endurance events and leadership workshops. We build upon the Workshop Sessions and Rucking Events in this mode of training.
Outdoor Training designed to build the skills needed not just to survive in austere environments—but to thrive. This mode of training is the pinnacle of the AOD training curriculum. These events require that you have been through the Rucking and Team Based Events with Adapt or Die.

You lead under pressure. Let's talk about what is actually working and what isn't.
